Marc's journey began with a strong educational foundation, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a concentration in Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder. This academic background has provided him with a keen understanding of financial operations, strategic planning, and market analysis—critical skills necessary for guiding early-stage companies in building sustainable revenue streams. Prior to his experience at the University, Marc honed his foundational skills at Pine Crest Preparatory High School and CHS, where he established a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset that would serve as the bedrock for his future successes.
His career trajectory is marked by significant strategic roles where he has made a profound impact on revenue growth and customer acquisition. As a Chief Revenue Officer and Co-Founder of SeamlessDocs, Marc played a crucial role in creating a revenue organization that successfully managed to acquire and retain over 500 state and local government customers. Under his leadership, SeamlessDocs experienced a transformative journey leading to a successful exit, proving his acumen in scaling operations and cultivating long-lasting partnerships with public sector entities. Following this impressive tenure, Marc went on to lead a Series B company through the essential growth phase from $10 million to $25 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), showcasing his ability to drive substantial revenue growth even in the competitive SaaS landscape.
Marc’s expertise extends beyond his own entrepreneurial successes; he has been involved in numerous other organizations as well. He served as the Go-To-Market (GTM) and Sales Advisor for Forerunner, where he provided strategic guidance to optimize sales processes for public sector ventures. His ownership of Grateful Roots highlights Marc's versatility and willingness to explore diverse business models. Additionally, he held roles at City Innovate Inc. as GTM and Sales Consultant and at REPLICA as Vice President of Sales—positions that enhanced his understanding of the public sector's unique needs. Most notably, as Senior Vice President of Revenue and Sales Operations at Kofile Technologies, Marc was able to integrate his rich experiences from his time at SeamlessDocs to further strengthen Kofile's position in the public market.
