Leticia Isambo is a seasoned international development professional with a strong background in project management and implementation of major donor-funded initiatives like USAID, KFW, DOD, Dutch, UNFPA, and the Global Fund.
With a wealth of over a decade of professional experience, including seven years in managerial roles, Mrs. Isambo possesses a profound understanding of donor protocols, policies, and regulations, overseeing the execution of large-scale programs in diverse sectors such as governance, agriculture, and health.
Her expertise encompasses various facets of program management, including startup and closure, financial and administrative management, budgeting, contracting, new business development, marketing, and grant oversight involving negotiations and sub-awardee monitoring.
Currently holding the position of Program Manager for the West and Central Africa region at Population Services International (PSI), Mrs. Isambo effectively manages three PSI field offices located in Guinea, Mali, and Niger.
Mrs. Isambo pursued her education at George Mason University, where she studied M.A in International Commerce and Policy.
Throughout her career, she has held several key positions at renowned organizations, serving as Senior Finance Manager, Finance Manager, Program Manager, Director of Administration and Finance, Acting Deputy Chief of Party, Operations Manager, Project Associate, and Project Coordinator at various points.
She has also contributed her talents in roles such as Manager at Anderson Financial Services, Assistant Director at the French Ministry of Educational Workshop, Teacher Assistant at Governor Foreign Language Academy, and Intern at VCU French Film Festival.
