Krista Anderson

Krista Anderson is a seasoned professional in the higher education sector with a strong background in compliance, Title IX, sexual misconduct programs, Clery Act/VAWA, and Youth Protection programs for minors on campus. She currently works at a System-level offering support and resources to 14 UT institutions systemwide.

With a Master's in Education with a focus on Guidance and Counseling from Texas State University, Krista also holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Sociology from the same university.

Her previous roles include Systemwide Title IX Coordinator, Associate Vice President & Title IX Coordinator, and Director of Student Emergency Services at The University of Texas at Austin. She has experience in crisis response, threat assessment, student support services, behavior risk assessment, wellness issues, academic services, and educational publishing.

Krista has a diverse professional background ranging from technical writing at educational publishing companies to residential life positions at various universities. She has also worked in roles such as Graduate Research Assistant, Residence Director, Graphics Operator, Permissions Editor, and Supplemental Instructor.

She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her current role, focusing on developing training materials, creating guidance for new laws and regulations, and establishing policies related to Title IX and compliance issues. Krista's dedication to ensuring a safe and supportive environment for students across the UT System is evident in her multifaceted career.
