Kourtney Barrett

Kourtney Barrett, an education professional, was born and raised in a small town with no initial desire for college. A pivotal visit to the University of Southern Indiana altered her path and ignited her passion for higher education.

Barrett holds a Master's degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Western Kentucky University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Southern Indiana.

Her career has predominantly revolved around higher education, focusing on student affairs, particularly in student conduct, conflict resolution, and Title IX.

She has held various roles in esteemed organizations, such as Leadership Program Specialist to the Dean at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, Deputy Title IX Coordinator at Indiana State University, Associate Director of Student Conduct and Integrity at Indiana State University, Interim Coordinator of Student Conduct at the University of Southern Indiana, Area Coordinator at the University of Southern Indiana, and Residence Hall Director at Western Kentucky University.
