Julia Lam is an accomplished professional known for her early involvement with Facebook, where she played a significant role between 2007-2011. She is an award-winning serial entrepreneur, startup advisor, and investor with a rich background in the startup ecosystem.
With over a decade of experience in the industry, Julia has been a CEO and founder for more than eight years at various early-stage companies. Her expertise lies in working with pre-seed and seed companies, focusing on building products from 0-to-1, and developing both digital and physical products.

Julia's educational background is equally impressive, having studied Communication Studies at UCLA, graduating with Latin Honors (Cum Laude) and appearing on the UCLA Deans Honors List. She also pursued studies in Chinese at Beijing Language and Culture University and completed a study abroad program in Australia at Macquarie University.
Currently, Julia is actively involved as an Angel Investor & Startup Advisor at Kayak Ventures. She has previously held roles such as Advisor at Formation, Co-founder & President at A3 Foundation, Advisor for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Startup UCLA, and various positions at Facebook including Product, Marketing, Platform Product Marketing, and User Operations. She has also founded and led companies like Tara&Co and Bucket (which was later acquired by Galavantier).
