    Joshua Chen is a bioengineering professional with a passion for biotech, BioMEMS, bioelectronics, neural engineering, and related areas. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. He has a strong background in scientific research and educational outreach.

    Throughout his academic and professional journey, Joshua has been actively involved in various esteemed organizations. He has served as a Graduate Research Fellow at the National Science Foundation (NSF), a Graduate Student Researcher at Rice University, and a Hardware Engineer at Verily Life Sciences. Joshua has also contributed his skills as an NSF REU Fellow at the Center for Sensorimotor Neural Engineering at the University of Washington and as an Undergraduate Researcher at both the Maharbiz Lab and Guo Lab at UCSF and University of California, Berkeley, respectively.

    His diverse experiences include editorial roles at Medgadget, serving as Co-Director at the Micromechanical Methods for Biology Laboratory at UC Berkeley, and leading as the Internal Vice President of the Regents' and Chancellor's Scholars Association at UC Berkeley. Furthermore, Joshua's research endeavors extended to the Keck School of Medicine's Ying Lab at the University of Southern California during his academic pursuits.
