John Williams

John C. Williams is a prominent figure in the film and television industry, known for his role as the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Reel Works Teen Filmmaking.

Together with his wife Stephanie Walter Williams, John established Reel Works in 2001, offering free after school filmmaking workshops to Brooklyn teens and providing them with personalized mentoring from professional filmmakers.

His expertise spans a wide range of media including independent features, corporate communications, major market commercials, and original television programming, earning him accolades as an award-winning filmmaker and television producer.

John's educational background includes studying English at Ithaca College London, completing an MFA in Film & Television at New York University, earning a BA in English at Boston University, and graduating from MHS '83.

Throughout his career, John has been associated with several notable organizations such as Reel Works Teen Filmmaking where he serves as the Executive Director, as well as holding positions including President at Awarenes Films, Inc., Member at HIVE NYC, Producer at Metro-Channels at Rainbow Media, and working as a Freelance Producer.
