    Jessica Catron is a highly skilled cellist, vocalist, composer, arranger, curator, and educator with a diverse background in music.

    With two degrees in Cello Performance, Jessica has performed globally both as a soloist and ensemble musician across various music genres including Chamber, Symphonic, Folk, Experimental, Rock, Pop, Country, Hip Hop, Metal, and Punk.

    She is a talented vocalist who has sung in choirs and bands. Jessica currently sings while driving and with her children. She is a member of the bands Missincinatti and The Receptionists, and also leads singalongs and workshops in Shape Note and Folk music.

    As a composer, Jessica has been creating music for over a decade and enjoys writing pieces that complement other music styles. She has studied composition under notable musicians like James Tenney and Pauline Oliveros.

    Known for her exceptional ear, Jessica excels as an arranger. She founded The Cello Mafia, an ensemble that performs her arrangements. Additionally, she arranges music for various purposes including recording, film, performances, and visual arts.

    Jessica has a passion for curating shows since childhood and continues to organize events to this day. She also has a robust background in music education, having served as a teaching artist for Youth Orchestra Los Angeles (YOLA) and now operating her fiddle school Grow Music in Missoula.

    Jessica Catron holds a B.M. in Cello Performance from the University of New Mexico School of Fine Arts and an MFA in Cello Performance from the California Institute of the Arts.

    She is the founder of Grow Music in Missoula and has previously worked with organizations such as the Missoula Symphony Association, For Hire, The Receptionists, and Missincinatti.
