    Heather is also an accomplished physiologist and researcher with a focus on elite sport science and higher education. Her skill set includes expertise in Clinical Research, Coaching, Communication, Science, and Public Speaking.

    She holds a PhD in Exercise Physiology, Metabolism, and Nutrition from the University of Guelph, and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Toronto.

    Heather has held key positions in prestigious organizations such as Canadian Sport Institute Ontario, Ontario Tech University, University of Toronto, University of Toronto Scarborough, Peak Genics Performance Diagnostics Inc, and University of Guelph-Humber. Her roles have ranged from Lead in Innovation & Research to Assistant and Adjunct Professorships and Directorships of various exercise and nutrition diagnostics programs.

    In addition to her academic and research roles, Heather Logan-Sprenger has a successful history as a professional cyclist with Team Colavita, Team Exergy 2012, and the Canadian Cycling Association. She has also been part of the Bell Athlete Connect Program as a National Team Athlete.
