Jono Forbes is a skilled software engineer and 3D artist with a diverse background in computer science, electronic arts, and animation. He holds degrees from both Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University. Forbes has worked in several organizations throughout his career, including Unity Labs at Unity Technologies, where he currently serves as a senior software engineer. He is also a former co-founder and man of many hats at Defective Studios, a former course instructor and curriculum designer at Digital Media Academy, and a former 3D artist at 3D VIA (Dassault Systemes). Forbes is an experienced teacher and curriculum designer, having previously served as an assistant director, 3D animation teacher, and curriculum designer at E-cast Summer Camps. He is also an active member of the Boston Unity Group and Boston VR, where he formerly served as a co-organizer.
