Peter Bekesi is a seasoned banking professional with over 19 years of experience in various roles ranging from the back office to the front office. He possesses a wealth of knowledge in asset and liability management (ALM), risk management, treasury, balance sheet risk management, liquidity management, interest rate risk and FX risk management, funds transfer pricing (FTP), market risk, derivatives, Basel III, ILAAP/ ICAAP, controlling/ accounting, corporate governance, project management, policy development, and creative problem-solving.

Peter's expertise is evidenced by his major achievements, which include establishing ALM/Treasury functions in Asia and Europe, developing governance of ALM for APAC, and developing and implementing a risk-based funds transfer pricing (RB-FTP) concept in the RBI group. Additionally, he has spearheaded several successful system implementation projects, including Kondor+, SAP, and Spectrum.

Peter has strong leadership skills and has headed up teams as large as 12 people. He has built up Treasury/ALM and risk-related operations in Europe and APAC, and he is considered a subject matter expert in pricing and transfer pricing-related issues.
