Working closely with T1 and Tier 2 (T2) vendor teammates, Dewey gained invaluable hard skills in footwear engineering, pattern making, costing, production, industrial engineering, planning, development, and operations.
Upon returning to the U.S. in 2020, Dewey relocated to Portland, Oregon, where he currently serves as a Footwear Developer at Under Armour, specifically building running shoes tailored for the performance-focused athlete. With a strategic 5-year plan to ‘act like a sponge’ and master the fundamentals of development, Dewey is determined to advance to a senior position in footwear development. His aspirations do not stop there; he envisions a return to Asia at the age of 30 to further his career in footwear sourcing, driven by the wealth of experience he aims to accumulate in the coming years.
