Denise Svenson is a passionate educator and accomplished architect, uniquely positioned at the intersection of education and architectural design. Currently, she serves as the Head of Upper Elementary (Grades 3-5) at the Presidio Knolls School, where she applies her unique skill set to enhance the learning experiences of her students. In her previous roles, she has worked as a Math Specialist at both the Presidio Knolls School and the International School of the Peninsula, where she innovatively developed math-focused curricula that engage students and foster a love of learning—especially in the STEM fields. Denise also made significant contributions as the Middle Years Programme Coordinator at the Shu Ren International School, further demonstrating her leadership in educational development.
In addition to her roles in education, Denise has an extensive background in architecture, where she served as both an architect and a business manager at Dencity Design, showcasing her versatility and range of talents. Her architectural career includes influential positions at several esteemed firms, such as Smith Dalia Architects and Stang and Newdow Architects, and she gained valuable experience during her internship at Smallwood Reynolds Stewart Stewart. Denise's blend of professional expertise in both the educational and architectural spheres makes her a valuable asset in facilitation and curriculum development, particularly in STEM-focused learning environments.
