Cassandra Amaral

Cassandra Amaral is an Electrical Engineer with 19 years of experience. She has spent 14 years working in a cement factory as a technical support electrical engineer to the maintenance manager, overseeing the electrical maintenance team. She specialized in Occupational Safety Engineering, focusing her thesis on developing a FMEA on MT VPO circuit breakers. Cassandra also taught at UnP for 2 years in postgraduate and Safety Engineering Technology courses. She holds a Master's degree in Communication and Automation Systems, with a dissertation on Energy Efficiency applied to a Water Supply System. Additionally, she completed a specialization in Industrial Process Automation, with her thesis focusing on Neural Networks (AI) and its application in the ball mill filling control system. Both postgraduate projects were practical applications in the cement factory, yielding satisfactory results. Recently, she started an MBA in Business Management. In 2017, Cassandra transitioned her career by leaving the cement factory to co-found an integrated Photovoltaic Systems company, where she now serves as Commercial Director.
