Bruno Vandegehuchte

Bruno Vandegehuchte is an experienced Business Development (BD) manager with a proven track record of connecting high-growth tech companies with various stakeholders like VCs, investors, corporate partners, and peers.

He is the Founder of Level Up, which is Belgium's pioneering VC event, and a Co-founder of the international tech summit SuperNova that drew 40k visitors in its first edition. He is also the Founder and organizer of the international VC event, The Big Score, until 2023. Additionally, he has revitalized the Wintercircus into a distinctive startup campus and technology hub.

With a comprehensive understanding of the 'betech' ecosystem and various European tech hubs, Bruno has worked in European and national parliaments, a tier one full-service legal firm, and spearheaded unique international initiatives like Belgium's renowned jazz festival, Gent Jazz Festival. He is the founder of Belgium's essential investors and tech matchmaking events Level Up Belgium, The Big Score, and SuperNova. He possesses a robust professional network within the international tech community, VCs, policy professionals, and excels in areas such as incubation, fundraising, event organization, campus and community management, and public/corporate policy.

Educationally, Bruno Vandegehuchte pursued a Master's degree in Political and Social Sciences at Ghent University and completed a Bachelor's program in Journalism at Arteveldehogeschool over a 3-year cycle.

Throughout his career, Bruno has held key roles in various organizations, including being the Former Head of Campus at Wintercircus Ghent, Managing Director at Ronin Ventures, Gent BC, and as a self-employed professional. He also served as the Business Development Manager at Gent Jazz, a Freelance Business Development Consultant at Ronin Ventures, a Business Development Coordinator at Stibbe law firm, and as a Parliamentary Advisor at the Belgian Senate. Additionally, he worked as an Advisor to the Vice President at the Council of Europe.
