With a strong academic foundation, Angelina pursued her studies in Multimedia Journalism and Studio Arts at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she honed her storytelling skills and cultivated her artistic abilities. Her dedication to learning and achievement is underscored by her exceptional academic performance, having achieved a remarkable 4.6 GPA at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, one of the nation's top high schools focused on STEM education.
Throughout her vibrant career, Angelina has embraced a wide range of roles that have further enhanced her skills and knowledge in the field of visual communication. Notably, she served as a Multimedia Communications Assistant at The Environmental Finance Center at UNC-Chapel Hill, where she played a key role in creating impactful content that supports vital environmental initiatives. Her time at The Daily Tar Heel was equally significant, where she originally began as a Staff Photographer and later advanced to the position of Photography/Videography Editor, showcasing her leadership skills and commitment to quality journalism.
Angelina's diverse experiences extend to her work with organizations such as LIMEAID, where she utilized her graphic design talents and photography skills, and LAB! Theatre, where she contributed as a Photographer, Videographer, and Graphic Designer. Additionally, she interned at Malheur Enterprise as a Photo/Videojournalism Intern, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field. Angelina also worked at the UNC Reese Innovation Lab, where she took on the role of Photographer/Videographer to document and promote innovative research initiatives. Her creative endeavors did not stop there; she was also a photographer for YACKETY YACK PUBLISHING INC and a vital member of the design team for TEDx events.
Moreover, Angelina understands the importance of community service and has actively participated in various initiatives, including her position as Photography and Design Committee Chair for TEDxNCSSM. Her role involved leveraging her design expertise to create engaging promotional materials, raising awareness about the organization's mission and events.
