    Andrew Dykens is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago and serves as the Director of Global Community Health Systems at the UIC Center for Global Health. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and further pursued his training with a residency in Family Medicine and a Public Health degree at UIC.

    Andrew Dykens holds a Master's in Public Health with a specialization in Health Policy and Administration from the University of Illinois Chicago, an MD from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science with a Pre-Med Major along with Philosophy and Chemistry Minors from Truman State University.

    Throughout his career, Andrew Dykens has held various key roles including Director of Global Community Health Systems at the UIC Center for Global Health, Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Founder and Executive Director at Peace Care, Director at UIC Department of Family Medicine Global Community Health Track, and a dedicated Peace Corps Volunteer.
