    Alan Colyer is a Principal with Gensler and the Director of Planning + Urban Design for its South Central region. With a background in urban design, he has held significant roles in renowned architecture firms like HOK. Alan has been involved in key projects such as the George Bush Presidential Library Complex, U.S. Embassy Complex in San Salvador, and the BP North American Headquarters Campus.

    After serving in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army, Alan pursued his education at Texas A&M University, graduating in 1981. He later joined CRS, which evolved into HOK, where he made notable contributions. Recognized for his achievements, he was appointed Chair of the Urban Design Mixed Use Council for the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
