Prepared music for roughly 30 operas and 3 symphonic concerts per season, including marking cuts, bowings, proofreading parts, distributing and tracking vocal scores.  Set out music for rehearsals and performances, including stage bands.Created new orchestral materials using AdobePro, PhotoShop, and Finale software.  Utilized in-house Filemaker database software and artistic program to access the various library and performance-related information.Assisted the Chief Librarian with orchestral audition materials, last-minute cut changes and transpositions.  Fulfilled various music requests from orchestral musicians, guest artists, and conductors.Respectively acknowledged the conductors and orchestra musicians regarding musical issues and resolved their problems quickly and efficiently.  Effectively communicated with colleagues and the artistic department to ensure accuracy and integrity of The Metropolitan Opera's prepared music.

Acquired music for each season, placed rental orders, prepared and corrected parts for all concert series and select Pops programs and performances.  Performed independent stage duties as needed.  Entered repertoire data and submitted quarterly ASCAP and BMI reports using the OPAS orchestra management software program.Responsible for all part preparation for Youth and Family programs, shared part preparation for Classical, Pops/Special, and Parks programs.  Assisted head librarian with budgeting, including requesting rental quotes and costing out new purchases.  Signed rental contracts, created an efficient process to track invoices.  Performed independent concert duties, made practice parts for musicians, uploaded practice parts to an online server, input data into OPAS, communicated with personnel manager and artistic administrator about potential issues.

Created music rental/purchase budgets for 5+ orchestras; placed all rental and purchase orders.  Coded and tracked all invoices and payments.  Managed supplies and work/study budgets.  Utilized ArtsVision orchestra management software program to access concert information.  Communicated with artistic operations personnel about bowings and special requests for all orchestras, conductors and guest artists.Interviewed, hired and trained 6 music librarians.  Managed all librarians as they prepared the music and performed stage duties for the Aspen Music Festival Orchestra.  Personally analyzed various cost scenarios and utilized smart rental practices to save money (music rentals) for the organization.

Prepared music for Sinfonia Orchestra.  Created practice parts and distributed musician folders for rehearsals and concerts.  Performed concert stage duties.  Stocked and managed the Student Orchestra Library with supplies.  Supervised work/study students and assisted students with excerpt requests.  Cataloged all new music and returned rental music.

Assisted in music preparation, including errata, page turns, repairs, cuts, and bowings.  Created practice parts and study scores.  Independently performed rehearsal and concert stage duties.Inventoried new works and entered information into OPAS.  Equipped music trunks for 2006 Vail, Colorado residency.  Organized and sealed Dallas Symphony Orchestra's archival files in the Dallas Public Library.
