Jesper Udesen is a renowned senior research scientist with an extensive background in sound-related devices, spatial sound/hearing, and virtual reality systems. With a passion for testing scientific ideas in realistic environments where end-user benefit can be objectively measured, Jesper has worked for 15 years in academia at the Technical University of Denmark, a hospital at Copenhagen University, and as an assistant professor before moving into the industry.

His area of expertise includes acoustic measurements, signal processing related to hearing aids, psychoacoustics, and testing new scientific ideas in real-life scenarios. Jesper has published several patents, conference papers and journal paper publications attesting to his academic and scientific proficiency. He has also supervised and taught students at the master's and PhD levels.

Currently, Jesper works for GN Group as a senior research scientist, where he leads the research in 3D audio, testing new technologies, and rapid prototyping. His experience at GN ReSound and GN Audio gives him unparalleled insights in the industry, combining new technologies with hearing aids.
