Andrés Felipe Jaime is a Colombian conductor with an impressive resume. Holding positions as Music Director, Assistant Conductor, and Director Musical Titular, he has conducted many orchestras in both the United States and Colombia, including the Bogota Philharmonic and The Cleveland Orchestra. Andrés is also the Co-Founder and Music Director of The Sinfonietta of Fort Worth and has recently finished a three-year tenure as Associate Conductor of the Frost Symphony Orchestra in Miami. His education includes a Doctor of Musical Arts in Orchestral Conducting from the University of Miami, among other qualifications.
Andrés has worked with renowned conductors such as Miguel Harth-Bedoya and Giancarlo Guerrero and has directed symphonic and operatic projects, world premiers, and recordings. Notably, he recently served as the Assistant Conductor at Orquesta Filarmónica de Bogotá, where he currently holds the position of Director asistente. He is also a former Conducting Fellow at the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and has studied Cello Performance at the Universidad EAFIT.
In addition to his musical talents, Andrés is the former Publishing Manager at FILARMONIKA Music Publishing and has been involved in music education as the Director of the B Sharp Youth Music Program.
