Brendan McManus is a successful entrepreneur and Partner at Race Capital, a San Francisco-based early stage venture capital fund. He co-founded the company with Alfred Chuang, Edith Yeung, and Phil Chen, and focuses most of his work on lead pre-seed and seed stage technology startups, particularly those in the enterprise/b2b space. McManus has invested in numerous high-profile startups, including Lightning Labs, Solana, and FTX: Cryptocurrency Derivatives Exchange. His prior experience includes roles as Lead Series Seed Investor at Saber Labs, Co-Founder at StartupDigest, and Community Lead at Greylock Partners. McManus has also worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Innovation Quest, Advisor at Singularity University, and Mentor at The Thiel Foundation. He received his BA from the University of Notre Dame and attended high school at Phillips Academy.
