Ted Brandt, a seasoned professional in sustainable technology, clean power, and infrastructure financing, is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Marathon Capital. With almost three decades of experience in the financial industry, Brandt has served in various senior roles in large non-banking finance and leasing companies. At Marathon Capital, he handles the firm's global operations and oversees their transaction teams that have completed 300 ESG related transactions.
After graduating with a BA in Economics from Oberlin College, Brandt went on to earn an MBA in Finance and Marketing from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He presently serves as a member of the Advisory Council for the Becker Friedman Institute at the University of Chicago and is a trustee of Oberlin College. Brandt holds his Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses.
Brandt's expertise lies in sustainable technology, clean power, and infrastructure financing. He is proficient in P&L management, securitization financing, investment committees, and asset M&A.
