Richard Rubin, an experienced Assistant Editor and Junior Editor with 15 years of experience, has worked on multiple high-profile projects, contributing to Emmy-winning nationally broadcast and feature film projects. He is an expert in Avid editing, After Effects animation, and anything related to still photography for film, including digital asset management, photo restoration, and retouching. Richard has an extensive background in research, digital creation of maps and animations, Filemaker DB creation and management, and desktop publishing software, including Photoshop and Illustrator. He studied Broadcast Production at Temple University and attended Boston University.

Richard's portfolio includes working with small and collaborative teams on Ken Burns documentaries, where he was responsible for digital creation of maps and animations with After Effects on thousands of photographs. He also worked as an Assistant Editor at Union Editorial, Public Road Productions, and Florentine Films, where he helped edit scenes that made it to final broadcast, and as a Family Business Member at Phototype Color Graphics.
