Mukesh Patel is an accomplished engineering and technology leader with a wealth of experience in architecture, hardware, and software design, specializing in 3D, CPU/GPU, imaging, computer vision, data computing engines, and sensors. With an ability to quickly grasp emerging technologies, he has built and managed global teams to develop world class products from concept to launch. Mukesh holds a magna cum laude BSEE from Bangor University and has secured over 25 US-issued and pending patents spanning a wide range of topics, including Java, digital video, mobile, cloud services, and consumer electronics. Before joining Gatan Inc. as Head of Electrical Engineering and System Software, he held leadership positions at Prysm Inc., TiVo, MoSys Inc., Nazomi Communications, Sun Microsystems, and Silicon Graphics Computer Systems.
