- Acquired for $225,000,000 by Nuance Communications - Manage Marketing & Business Development department. - Drove Series B funding efforts to successfully raise $20 million round lead by Yahoo!. - Observe board of director meetings. - Managed direct to consumer business which scaled to over 10 million users -- including promotion, distribution, pricing, branding, and customer segment targeting. - Before hiring a CFO managed overall company budget and spending for the entire organization.

- Led due diligence for potential investment including technical, regulatory, market, competitive, customer and financial analysis. - Sourced new deals from professional network in the Wireless Applications, Enterprise Software and Web 2.0 spaces.

- Developed detailed action plan to build international real estate investment organization. Recommended staged approach and outlined specific vision of how the department would look at each interval over the next ten years in the areas of: organization, research, partnerships, investment strategy, investment process and risk management. Presented roadmap to head of asset management division; the plan was fully accepted and the first stag is currently being implemented. - Built comprehensive strategy for the mobile enterprise market across the US and Europe. Made specific recommendations as to which market segments to focus on; which channels to sell through in each of the major markets; which companies to partner with to complete the value chain; and which product attributes to emphasize in future releases. - Developed strategy for open internet ecosystem across consumer electronic products.

- Developed strategic opportunity analysis for new data encryption product. Based on results, sold set of recommendations to upper management. Plan was widely accepted and will be used as a foundation for strategic decisions over the next three years. Analysis included: sizing market opportunity and developing plan for which segments, regions and verticals to target; conducting competitive analysis and laying out short and long-term competitive strategy; and recommending prioritization for new features based on potential customer needs. - Built financial analysis of different pricing options for entry into mid-market segment. Recommended tiered promotion - model to drive market share and maximize revenue which was implemented within one month. - Conducted series of sales presentations to European customers and partners at industry conference in Amsterdam.

- Managed 13-member team for development of system for multinational Latin American bank. Led cross-functional team to successfully implement enterprise wide system on time and under budget. - Led design of Service-Oriented Architecture system, managing 14-person development team - Named one of five Chairmen’s Award finalists out of over 600 employees in 2003.

- Led three consultant sub-team charged with design and construction of mobile software application at growing internet firm. - Advised clients in defining requirements for Enterprise Resource Planning systems, supported design of proposed system, constructed applications and supported clients through acceptance.
