Researched the power sector in China and obstacles to renewable energy, covering wind integration, distributed generation (PV, CHP), transmission and distribution issues, policies from smart grid to UHV, and institutional dynamics including the State Grid’s corporate structure and potential regulatory reforms in the power sector.

China5e is a domestic energy company with research and project consulting services. My role entailed international business development and client outreach, conference planning, building the English website, translation and editing articles. Projects included setting up a content partnership with Dow Jones.
